Things To See and Do

Bangla Road, Patong Beach

Bangla Road is home to a wide selection of bars and clubs, and really comes to life once the sun sets. The road is closed to vehicle traffic and becomes a 400 metre festival of neon lights and loud music.

Wat Chalong

Wat Chalong, or Chalong temples, is the largest and most important of Phuket’s temples, visited by thousands of people every year. Locals come to pray and Westerners come to learn about Buddhism.

Freedom Beach

Freedom Beach is an exclusive gem on Phuket’s west coast, the 300 metre long white sand beach is set amongst hills covered by thick and luxuriant jungle.

Phuket Mining Museum

Phuket Mining Museum, located in Kathu, is one of the island’s most interesting museums and presents a diverse range of history. It features displays ranging from tin mine models to a recreated scene in an opium den.

Phuket FantaSea Show

Trapeze artists, elephants and pyrotechnics combine for a Las Vegas-style show with a Thai twist. FantaSea blends traditional Thai myths with humour, fantasy and a wacky plotline.
