Sundance Resort Izu Kogen Annex allows guests to enjoy the beautiful location and play spot of Izu. The white sand beaches of the Izu Peninsula are a rare find on mainland Japan, neighboured by beautiful cliffs, tumbling hills, and natural hot springs. As Japan’s largest producer of green tea, the age-old tradition of tea drinking is ubiquitous in Shizuoka, from the miles of tea fields to the old tea houses hosting traditional tea ceremonies. Izu-Kogen has a moderate maritime climate with hot, humid summers, and short, cool winters. The annual mean temperature is 15°C, with an average maximum of 25°C in summer & an average minimum of 5°C in winter.
