Whether it’s a relaxing getaway or a fun-packed active holiday, Port Stephens’ activities and attractions appeal to all. Between late May and early November, the waters of Port Stephens become a haven for whales on their annual migration, plus you can see dolphins all year round with a cruise from Nelson Bay. Famous for fishing, Port Stephens offers many offshore reefs for the amateur or more experienced fisher, as well as great fishing just within the port. In addition to water activities including swimming, surfing, diving, snorkelling or cruising, Port Stephens also has much to do on dry land. The views of Port Stephens are simply amazing from the top of Tomaree Headland and the moderate climate makes it ideal for hiking and golf.
