The Sand Boarding Adventure runs every weekend and during school holidays for the ultimate in thrills! On our shuttle tour you will travel across the sand hills, driving up and down some very large dunes, to the Sandboarding area (shade and chairs provided). The tours are designed for the whole family and are suitable for all ages!

The dune features many different sized slopes to suit all ages. Awesome family fun! They provide boards, and one of the friendly instructors will instruct on the safe use of the boards in both sitting down and stand up styles.

The landscape is magnificent, so don’t forget your camera. It operates a shuttle bus service every 15-20 minutes, so stay and play as long as you like, and simply hop on the next bus when you are finished!

Exhibited in two hangars, visitors can walk-around, touch and look into the cockpits of such famous aircraft as the Mirage III, the Avon Sabre, the Gloster Meteor, the first Vampire jet built in Australia and new in 2013 the mighty F-111. There is a Russian designed MiG-21 jet fighter, Hawker Hunter, WWII Spitfire replica, a Messerschmitt replica and much more.

Fighter World also offers the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a Mirage interceptor and Macchi jet trainer and experience first-hand what it’s like to be one of Australia’s ‘Top Gun’ pilots in today’s hi-tech world.

Toboggan Hill Park

Toboggan Hill Park is set amongst natural bushland, just off Salamander Way at Nelson Bay, and offers a variety of exciting activities for all ages and abilities. The Park’s main attraction is a one kilometre toboggan track which gently weaves through wildflowers and native landscape.
