Things To See and Do in Hunt, Texas

Boerne

Boerne is home to four major attractions. The acclaimed Cibolo Nature Center with it’s four distinct eco systems is popular for birding, hiking and exploring. And there are two natural living caves- Cave Without A Name and Cascade Caverns.

Stonehenge II

Originally erected for fun by two locals residents, Stonehenge II is 90% as wide as the original and 60% high. It has recently been relocated to the grounds of the Hill Country Arts Foundation along with two 13-ft. tall Easter Island heads and is well worth a visit.

Fredericksburg

Founded in 1846 by German immigrants, Fredericksburg has retained much of its German history, with many of the older buildings keeping their original German styles. The town boasts a rich history, — including Fort Martin Scott, Pioneer Museum Complex and the Lyndon B. Johnson State and National Historical Parks — a booming shopping scene, known as Magic Mile (with over 150 shops, including antique retailers, candy shops and boutiques), an ever-growing art scene and an amazing central location to Texas’s blossoming wine industry.
