Things To See and Do in Guangdong, China

Sea World

Built by the French in 1962, it has been remodelled into a hotel with a large outdoor bar area and restaurants. Each evening at 7.00pm and 8.00pm you can watch a short, ten-minute water fountain display, set to music with the ship as a backdrop.

Nanshan Mountain

The path consists of about 700 steps and takes several hours to go up and return down. You’ll be able to rest on benches along the way and at the top be rewarded by a spectacular vista of the Nanshan District.

Shenzhen Safari Park

Shenzhen Safari Park is the first zoo in China to uncage animals. With green mountains to the north as its barrier, it is like a bright pearl in the bustling metropolis.

Window of the World

Window of the World is Shenzhen’s number one attraction. It is a collection of about 130 replicas of world sights and landmarks, all within the 120-acre theme park.
